Jim, your suggestion would be fine if the situation existed in the YooKay...but it doesn't, being, in fact, outlawed by the four FAs.
For that very reason I, and I suspect many of the established LLaMas, won't touch "feeder" deals with a 10 foot pole in the YooKay.

| I;ve come to the same conclusion myself. The real point of my post was to bring to everyone;s attention that if it is unrealistic to have loand between non-existant feeder clubs, why is it realistic to allow loand between Premiership & Conf N/S clubs.
I wasn't condoning the use of feeder clubs. I was simply stating that the loaning situation between teams at opposite ends of the structure is far more of a concern and has been around long before this feeder club fad..

I haven't loaned a player in since CM3. I prefer my donkeys to get experience than some snotty nosed kid who will disappear in a few months and leave you with nothing.

Check out this thread and especially Miles answer to my question. Quote: |
Feeder clubs are allowed in those countries. Certainly in England, anyway (in real life)
| This thread has also some feeder club discussion going on.
To sum it up then, according to the LLM ethos - no feeder club arrangements in the UK. What about countries where this is perfectly legal?

| Whilst not a suscriber to the one example means its okay theory. I follow the loans out that my club makes IRL.
This season Reading have loaned players out to League1, League2, Conference and Ryman premier sides.
On the basis that they have been doing so for years, I would assume that for a club of Reading's stature, any loan out would be reasonable.
I obviously cannot comment on the policies of a massive club like Chelsea, but would assume that it would be unrealistic for them to loan out any keepers!

Every player has the right to refuse a loan both IRL and in-game. Why would any self respecting player from a Prem/Champ want to go to a non - league club? In my demo managed to get Brighton linked with Chelski and enjoyed some great permances from loaned players. So this feature definitely works.

I'm not interested if it works.
This is LLM, we strive for realism, the FA specifically bans feeder Clubs in England, as the other Home Nation FAs do, so whether it works or not is irrelevant.
It's not LLM.

No they don't, I spoke to the SPL regarding this issue and there's nothing in their constitution that prevents these kind of links...
