Just started a game, decided I'd start off in the Welsh league. First things first, I take a look at my squad to see what the score is. Sort my players by wage to see who the "big earners" are. (By big earners I mean those who don't have to do shifts at McDonalds the night before a match! )
My average wage is around £80, I find one greedy git on £220 a week! Think to myself, he better be good! He's a central defender, so I'm hopeful I've found the rock at the heart of my defence - someone to build my team around....
A new game is out - and I'm spending alot of time at home at the moment. My mother is very ill and I'm looking after her for the forseeable future. So what better way to while away my life?
I've not played much of the last couple of versions, except at a mates house, so this version really feels like a fresh game to me.
As for my Welsh adventure... The bad news is that my squad is terrible, but the good news is that apart from 1-2 clubs I've come up against so is everyone else's!
One question - how come all the really tiny teams I played in friendlies kicked my arse... But yet I got off to a good start in the league?
