I'm new to this LLM stuff, my traditional game is to play as my hometown team Wrexham and get them to the Premier League everytime . But I've been reading through the rules and lurking about for a week or two on this forum and I'm intrigued by the sound of this lower league management stuff. I hope noone minds answering a few questions for me quickly?


1. If I start as Leigh RMI or whoever from the very bottom league am I permitted to take job offers from higher leagues? So if eventually Liverpool came and offered me the job I could take the job? Or is that against LLM rules?

2. If a team offers me a player, but I haven't scouted him (this does happen occasionally) am I allowed to scout this player?

3. Am I allowed to advertise for new members of staff by putting job adverts? Or can you just do it through the staff search?



If someone could help I'd appreciate it highly

1) If you earn the attention of high teams and they offer you the job: well done and entirely ethically correct :thup:

2) Seems to be a 'bug' in FM2007, to get offered all sorts of players by all sorts of teams. Show restraint, I'd say. If you're playing LLM in Ingurland, don't even think about looking at players from the Spanish second div, even if they are offered. If an English team, one or two leagues higher offer a player, I'd consider him fair game.

3) You are entirely allowed, but judging from experience in FM2006 lucky to get anything through the job center. Because of this flawed feature, you're just about forced to use the search

Headed out to the big bad scary world and the first job i had offered to me was Perseman Manokwari an Indonesian First Division team. I possibly may be out of my depth here. We only have six players! I'm on a short term contract to achieve promotion. Well here starts my career, I'll keep you all upto date

Another quick question, sorry I am so full of questions today. Basically my squad only has six players, do I have to sign my grey players to fill my team out until my scout finds some players for me? Should I use the player search?

Player search, as far as I'm concerned, is an absolute nono. Totally unrealistic. Find players through your scouts only. In this case of needing players direly, I'd say that signing your greys would be permitted, even though I personally would prefer getting scouted players. Just sign any old one-legged person. I once was in the same predicament with Lidingö in Sweden (worse: I had ONLY grey players) but managed to sign up about 15 people before the seasons start.

Do I have to have my scout actually give me a report on a player or can I just go on his judgement of their pa and ca off the scouting report of indonesia?
