What's so difficult about reading the Forum Header and the featured topics?

I did actually read all of the sticky topics, but that doesn't mean I didn't have a few questions after.

G.A's Three Rules of playing LLM.

1) Choose a team. Play the same team until you've won everything you can, regardless how long it takes, or until you're sacked. Then start a new game.
2) Choose a team. Play until your reputation attracts the interest of ever increasingly bigger teams; change Clubs as and when you're offered jobs until you're in charge at Real Madrid, Juventus, Man Utd or a World Cup winning Manager with San Marino.
3) Choose a team. Do crap. Get sacked. Wait for another team. Do crap. Get sacked. Wait for….ad infinitum.
You know what? I don't think I believe you

I quote this...

4. Never ever surrender!
Your team may be crap, and last on the table but you never press Ctrl-Alt-Del, you don't replay a game. You shrug your shoulders, scream a bit, bang your fist, mouth off in the LLM forum and move on. Try to use your reputation if you have one to find another job if you must but never ever cheat... which leads onto point #5...

I found this in one of the stickies, and it said 'find another job if you must' so I wasn't sure whether the rules contradict each other. Thanks for the correction though iajafer.

I have no idea how you think there's any contradiction there...they're two entirely separate subjects. One tells of the three ways to play LLM, the other tells you never to cheat

They're not rules, btw...they're guidelines

What I meant was the line 'find another job if you must' caught my eye and I took it to mean you're not allowed to move club unless you're forced to. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

May have been

Some softer types can't handle the shame of impending relegation so they choose to move elsewhere. Others just wait until they're sacked and have no choice.

Each manager can decide which they feel is more realistic.
