I have just won the Champions Cup with SPL team Queens Park Spiders!!! You have no idea how long i have been in the SPL and not even won the league, lol We beat Real Madrid in Extra time. it was scoreless at the end of 90. They scored a goal minutes into ET and then before half time we tied it :eek: and then in the 2nd half we took the lead and held on. Which is a good thing because i dont think we would have won a shoot out.
Just had to share that...it was ssooooooo long to get there. They arent a very self sufficent team, even playing in Hampden park. We only brought about 5-7000 fans a game and thats when we finished 2nd in the league like 5 yrs in a row. of course playing against big teams you bring around 30000, but thats not very often.
I wonder how much we will draw now that the team reputation is up Continental. :thup:
By the way, how many teams are in Glasgow??? seems like about 4 or 5 at least. I doubt we will bring in that many more fans even now.
