I have just been promoted to the COnference National and Bristol City have just been announced as my Parent Club. Is accepting players from them allowed in LLM?? Being a loyal Bristol Rovers supporter I want nothing to do with them, is there any way to rid myself of these swine??
Parent/feeder clubs aren't considered LLM as they are not legal in the English league. If you've asked for a parent club, it's a mess of your own making, I'm afraid.
There is an option to terminate the loan (not tried it yet to see if its allowed), and you're not required to play the players and you're not paying them, so let them rot in your reserves.
You can also request to cancel the link with them from the "Affiliated Clubs" screen.
I terminated one loanee, and tried to cancel the link with the club but my Chairman gave me a whipping and didnt allow it. The other two loanees I got are the best players in my team. I think I am may just accept the Chairmans choice, if its good enough for him its good enough for LLM
Well.. its not 100% not allowed. Clubs can't have first option to buy arrangements, but informal arrangements to loan players do happen all the time in the UK, just not quite the same way the game implements it.
