I know the manager and chairman have been punished, but I can't help thinking the club should be punished as well? They would never have made it to the league without the funds obtained through the scam. As hard as it might be on their supporters, I think they should be kicked out of the league.

It might be hard on Boston's supporters if their club got kicked out of the league, but what about of the supporters of the clubs who lost out to Boston for respective promotions because of the dodgy goings on at Boston?
If I remember right, Dagenham & Redbridge finished a close second the season Boston won promotion, so would therefore have most likely reached the Football League if it weren't for the fraud at Boston. Then there is whoever the team was that finished second the season Boston won promotion to the Conference. How must their fans feel, being so close to winning promotion, only to find it denied because Boston were paying wages with money that wasn't actually theirs to players they wouldn't have got otherwise?

Aye, demote 'em. I highly doubt the club was completely out of the loop with all this happening.

Well once all their players leave because now they'll really be paid 120 pounds/week instead of 600, relegation is probably imminent anyway.

Has there been any comment from the FA or UEFA? OK it's not match fixing as in Italy but long-term it's just as bad. Relegation / point-stripping offence at least surely?

In Germany there had been the same issue with Dynamo Dresden about 15 years ago. They were punished by being relegated from the Bundesliga directly into the Regionals.

The FA have said something. They deducted Boston points for the next season, their first in the League (six if memory serves) and as they have been punished before they won't be again.
But it doesn't help Dagenham & Redbridge and whomever the other team were.
