Just wondered if editing commentry was allowed. The reason I ask is I don't know if it has any other baring on the game. I have never done it before but would like to change some of the phrases the match engine uses. Don't shot me down if this is frowned upon please, I know editors aren't allowed but I'm hoping that doesn't include the commentary. I am also unsure if doing this would awaken any bugs in the game.

Er... Guys.
An ex-moderator of this very forum did rehashed match_events regularly for at least 2 CM versions.
Great stuff they were, to be frank.

Editing that file is fine as it has no direct impact on the game.

thank you, thats all I wanted a straight forward answer, not abuse. I didn't ask for a giggle, I'm not a stupid litlle boy either, I'm just not a computer programmer. I asked because I want to change the useless commentary without awakening editing bugs or anything else that may happen.

| Well considering the fact that there are usually commentary files thrown together for each version, I doubt it's going to bugger anything up, and as long as it doesn't have an impact of the game, it's not frowned upon.
