I took over a Danish team 15 games into the season. They were 6 points from safety and sat rock bottom, they had literally 1 goal scorer. My first game in charge was against the 10th place team and my odds of winning were 50-1 against.

While i managed to scrape two draws my team lost 1, morale dropped, didn't manage much after that.

Anyway my question is, are there jobs where the task is too big? I felt that with this team i had no hope

Taking over a club 3 games to go and 10 points from safety, I reckon I'd consider "too big" a task. I feel I would have no hope in that situation.
