Another tentative welcome.

At the risk of mild tipping, you can avoid freebie lists simply by sending your scout(s)out to look for £0 valued/waged players. And to give you some chance of signing those being snapped up by other teams, ask your scout for a report on any you see being mentioned in the media.

More often than not his report will come in too late to make a bid, but occasionally he will get back to you (in my save at least, he has sometimes) in time for you to get in a counter-offer.

(Mod blokes - if this is too much, feel free to snip the above and hand me a bollocking )

I would say that a simple report card on players without teams is enough to base a trial offer on - waiting for a 3 match report seems unrealistic, as they'll only play those 3 matches when they sign for someone (else)...

There are a multitude of ways to highlight potential players for your team without using player search/freebie lists. This is why LLaMas are dubious of using it and those that do - there are more than enough players available without it, using the 'traditional' scouting methods, so that it often seems that those looking to get around these guidelines by offering justification are simply trying to gain advantage. Which is against the ethos of LLM

Hope you stick around moomoo.

yep its true. i got bored of that in half a season

i support man u, so i usally go them or hull city my local team.

i'm quite new to the forums in general and always thought i was pretty good at fm, Untill i started reading the forums , and realised people was signign the same players as me using the same sort of tactics ect.

I was getting bored of everyteam.

So decided i would see what managing in the lower leagues is like, and i have been hooked so far, Cheering every goal cursing every miss.

Elrawkum thanks for the advice, i had no idea how to look for free players without the use of the playerlsit thing. Instead of suggesting i shouldnt be here u give me a helping hand and i appricate that. Hope u dont burned at the stake for helping me out a bit.

I would restart but i only signed 2 players and just got my local team hull as a perant team and way too happy about that to restart

...and for God's sake do something about your use of English.

Many of the guys who post here don't have English as their first language so using text-speak isn't allowed.

Dyslexia doesn't make one drop "yo" from "u" or fail to capitalize "I", for two

First of: Dyslexic people usually are amongst the posters who use better grammar and syntax here.

Why? Because they double and triple check their posts before hitting the submit now button.

Second: There's loads of posters here which don't have english as their first language. A few not even as second. There's even some of us for whom English isn't even our 3rd language.

Observing grammar and syntax makes it easier for us to understand your posts.

Third: There's a myriad of useful tools out there than can help you (such as FF2.0 inbuilt spellchecker), but mayhaps you're too lazy for that.

Hey! Let's just say I'm dyslexic and people will have to act sympathetic towards me, isn't it?

Your dyslexia obviously doesn't exclude you from abuse, you seem quite adept at that (I shan't card you on this one occasion).

It's your choice if you decide not to post here again, however if you do you'll lose the text-speak and the attitude...fact.

Thank you, come again
