I was looking for a workaround to the Shrek suspension without using the editor, and checked the editors forum on the off chance there might be a suggestion there. I noticed a sticky at the top of the page of suggested edits from the SI team.
Would using the editor for those SI approved suggested edits be allowed in LLM. There is no editing of stats or abilities, only "mistakes". Apologies if this has been asked before.

Technically you're not supposed to use the editor under any circumstances because of the "slippery slope" theory. If you use it to fix mistakes, then the idea is that you'll inevitably use it to boost club finances or for other cheating purposes.

But I tend to have more faith in humanity and a greater belief that people can be disciplined than the official rule assumes.

Sorry about the player naming. I was pretty sure it wouldn't be allowed, just hoped it might sneak in being "SI approved."
I wasn't suggesting the aforementioned young Scouse gentleman would be playing in the lower leagues, it would just be nice to have my England team correct.

A primary reason for the no editors rule you've conveniently overlooked is the potential for database corruption. Which shows me that your "faith in humanity" is greatly overestimated.

Aye. I know where you're coming from. As I just mentioned, it's the potential for DB corruption that rules this edit out, IMO.

I didn't defend naming a player, I apologised for it. I meant I hoped the edited might be allowed as it was SI approved. Could have worded it better I suppose.
