Without using the editor, I would like to know how long would I have to wait for a team like Daisy Hill to be included in the conference leagues? Is it just a random thing the AI generates which teams get promoted, or does each team outside the conference eventually get its turn in being promoted?

This is a question probably better answered by the SI peeps (and asking in GQ will probably get you an answer quicker as they don't venture in here much).
I think, however, that it's simulated to a certain degree, so it's not completely random. It could be that the teams relegated the previous year get promoted again the following year, or it could be that new teams get promoted.
It's way to early for us to get any sense of a 'pattern' at this point though.

Firstly what regional division are Daisy Hill in?
Off the top of my head i don't recall seeing them in my game so far,if they are not in the division below Conference N/S they will take at least around 7 years to get promoted .

I dont think they are in any regional division, so I guess they must be lower than that. They are the lowest of the lowest. So if it is gonna take 7 years to wait for them to get in, I will have to leave my PC on all week non stop for processing just to get thru 7 years holiday I reckon!

I believe there is only a select "pool" of teams that are randomly chosen from each season to make up the new entrants in Conf N/S.
Whoever is relegated the previous season goes into this group for following years

I don't recall seeing Daisy Hill in the FA Cup or Trophy qualifying rounds, so the chances of seeing them playable in the game will be less than winning the Euro lottery.

| Did you know there are some processors called "Pentium". Its last incarnations are a lot better than 486.

How do you become the manager of teams like Newcastle Town or Gateshead or unknown teams like that?

You appoint for the positions. If you have management experience or experience as a football coach, this might help.
Of course, if you are talking about FM, you just have to wait until these teams get promoted to the Conference North/South and the management positions become available.
At least Gateshead had been promoted regularly in FM 2006, so it's likely they will be playable in FM 2007 after a couple of seasons as well.
