Right, the issue I want to discuss is the semantics of feeder clubs.
With a formal feeder club arrangement, there's not only a chance for the club to loan players out but also a "first option" agreement as well.
Now in England, there are informal agreements - which are more or less the way the feeder club is coded now. The main difference is that with informal agreements, there are fewer loans and it is less prevalent than the game is doing now. It does need tweaking so that there are fewer loans IMO.
The other point I take to task is that most clubs end up as parent/feeder clubs by the end of the season. To me, that's a tad unrealistic.
The friendlies apparently don't work well - that's the impression I got from speaking to others.
Within English football, maybe the terminology could be used differently - to distinguish informal agreements between English clubs.
Anyway, what do you think?

The key problem is that the loan deals are overdone. Realistic would be any parent club sending out 2 or 3 players at most every season TOTAL, not their whole reserve team.
It'd be nice if the friendlies worked.
I think SI has made a nice attempt to model the informal arrangements in the UK and the more formal arrangements in other leagues (leaving out first option deals in the UK etc) but its just so overdone and overused in the game by the AI that its not working.
It could do without the news item where the two chairmen lick each other's arses because that is unrealistic (at least in the UK)

Mavis please, before making obscene post like that please bear in mine that us poor lads over in the US are still having breakfast. Any technical help on how to remove regurgitated breakfast from a computer screen would be most appreciated.
