Not really. Watch the news for other teams in your division making offers on players that are loan listed. Get a scouting report if you don't have one already and then jump in with an offer.

True, you usually won't discover the player first, but you can sign some wonderful finds this way.

Also, if you send your scout out keying on a position, he will often come back with loan listed players.

I'll try the method of keying on a position, but if I try to rely on news, I cannot get those players. Very few players of these players are EVER interested in joining a human managed club on loan at the start of the game, even if the two clubs are almost identical in quality. So that's why it's important to have a scout actually able to find some.

At first when reading this forum i was unsure why lots of people get such a rough welcome.

When u read the rules they are mentioned as guidelines. Some of the guidelines arent prefect or toally realistic but neither is fm. If you want to be a part of this community and post here you need to respect and follow the rules, instead of trying to pick flaws or loop holes in them.
