Yeah there have been some good introductions from what I've read.

Maybe FOW isn't worth getting too hung up about - but being honest about it if you saw a player who had totally terrible stats (which without FOW you wouldn't know about) would you waste your time scouting him? There's a difference between suspecting a player is crap and sending someone to scout and KNOWING a player is crap.

With the best will in the world, I can filter out "knowledge" I have from the real world (watching a player having a blinder on the rare times Sky show Conference footy doesn't make me rush out to buy him on FM surprisingly enough!) but to have stats thrown in my face will subconciously alter things.

The FOW thing is not worth getting hung up over. As John said, if you play the LLaMa way then it doesn't matter if you have FOW switched off TBH.
I don't agree. It allows you to exploit weaknesses in the opposition that you just wouldn't have been aware of.

Your scout telling you that they have a quich defence who are also good in the air, but it wouldn't allow you to see that their right back can't jump to save his lfe and their left back has a pace of 2.

It's an awful decision to change this.

If you, or anyone else is seriously thinking of getting rid of FM07, tell me.

There are a number of LLaMas abroad who cannot get copies in their own countries and I could send them copies if you don't want them.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you

There are a number of blokes down the pub who would love to buy it for £20 quid after I've bought it for £15 - everyone's a winner guv

Given the general dilution of stats and how they relate to performances in 07 I don't think it means anything.

Anyhow, fool that I am, I go my scout's report of the opposition. I don't click through their players before a match.

I am serious, I have already paid for, and sent, one copy to a LLaMa in Brazil. We still have one Canadian and one Russian in need of copies.
