Default A Trip to White Russia

Hi been a LLM lurker and player for a while, this is my first atempt at posting my exploits though.

Leagues Running
Belarus (1st League and Above), Bulgaria ("B" Group and Above), Croatia (2nd Division and Above), Czech Rep. (2nd Division and Above), Germany (2nd Division and Above), Hungary (Division II and Above), Poland (2nd Division and Above), Romania (2nd Division and Above), Russia (1st Division and Above), Slovakia (1st Division only), Slovenia (2nd Division and Above), Ukraine (1st League and Above), Serbia (1st League and Above)

Khimik Svetlogorsk - 2006 Belarusian 1st League

Players In: 2 (£1K)
Player Out: 1 (£0K)
Staff In: 3 (£0K)
Staff Out: 0 (£0K)

League Pos: 4th PLD26 W14 D5 L7 F60 A36 GD+24 PTS47
Belarusian Cup: 1st Round (Lost 3-2 to Pinsk)

(The Cup in Belarus seems to go on almost constantly with there only being a month between the final of one seasons cup and the next seasons' preliminary rounds)

Overall an enjoyable season. Was 2nd on the last day but lost the final game and dropped to 4th which was <STRIKE>gutting</STRIKE> utterly soul-destroying as the top 2 go up.

Khimik Svetlogorsk - 2007 Belarusian 1st League

Players In: 4 (£33K)
Player Out: 4 (£100K)
Staff In: 0 (£0K)
Staff Out: 1 (£0K)

League Pos: 5th PLD26 W14 D5 L7 F61 A36 GD+25 PTS47
Belarusian Cup: 3rd Round (Lost 2-1 (agg) to Shakhter Soligorsk)

If it wasn't for the extra goal I scored, this seasons performance would of been identical to the previous (except for the League Position).

It was a strong season, in which we were still in contention for promotion, up until the penultimate games. To still be mathematically possible to go up I needed the second place team, Lokomotive Vitebsk, to drop points and then to beat them in the final game of the season…neither of which happened. Hopefully this will be a season to build on.

Khimik Svetlogorsk - 2008 Belarusian 1st League

Players In: 1 (£1K)
Player Out: 16 (£150K) (A Purge of the Reserves)
Staff In: 1 (£0K)
Staff Out: 0 (£0K)

League Pos: 2nd PLD26 W14 D7 L5 F49 A35 GD+14 PTS49
Belarusian Cup: 2nd Round (Lost 2-1 to Torpedo Zhodino)

Wahay!! \o/ Promotion on the last day, although we didn't win a single game in the last 5 games, but a 1-1 draw at Belcard was enough to secure promotion. Cue wild celebrations...well maybe just a celebratory bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale i had saved in the fridge. We were never going to catch Dnepr Mogilev from about game 7, who finished top.

I had decided at the end of the season that i was going to stick with the majority of the current squad for next year. Well that was the plan until the bored decided to sell the Belarusian u-21 CB I had been nurturing (at the begining of this season so not in the players out section). If this is a sign of things to come i may be jumping ship very soon. Hopefully it was a one off.

I was working on it, but being a bit dyslexic (or special as my mummy calls it ), I was taking my time over the post to make sure i got everything correct. I'm sure i failed miserably, and I am currently expecting a knock on the door from the Flying Grammar Squad.

Does anyone know a place around here that serves humble pie? :p

Blinky, you get new guys trying to fit in here by completely missing what a decent flaming's about and missing what's being said in any given post and they jump the gun like a soviet sprinter.

Don't take it personally

There was nothing personally taken.

I kind of expected something to be posted in between, and thought I'd explain why there is a bit of gap in my posts... trying to start as a positive newbie in people's mind not an Ignorant one.

I just hope for his sake he's not as premature in other areas of his life. :p

You have the "Highest League" and below that you have the "1st League".

Only the two playable divisions.
