Hucknall_Elv - bear in mind that the Championship is no where near as lucrative as the Premiership.

For a real life example Brighton survived in the Championship last season but did so on a shoestring budget (our largest signing being funded by a windfall from Coca Cola) and this season have finally succumbed after a season where I think our most expensive signing was a loan deal

(so yeah I am sure - its just that the funding in real-life (and in the game) is notoriously top heavy, unless you have a huge fanbase of rabid supporters don't expect a large amount of dosh in the Championship)

I understand some of your answers Marc but what about the other end of the scale? I started as West Ham and was given £2.4m (iirc) to avoid relegation in the first season. I spent about 2m and finished 6th, qualifying for Europe.

I then released 10 players and signed 3 bosmans to cut the squad down. Only to find out that I will receive just £1.2m for the following season, not many European standard players I can get with that. Any Ideas??
