Im in my first season as inter milan, and a strange result popped up in the first round of the italian cup. The game was between Siena and Cagliari. It was the second leg of their game, and the first leg had finished 0:2 to Siena. In the home game it ends 2:3 to cagliari which is 4:3 to Siena on aggregate. Therefore Siena should go through right? However this didn't happen because Cagliari went through and they had an E next to their name. My question is why didn't Siena go through to the next round?

I had this aswell.

In the League One playoff semi-finals, Bournemouth were playing Blackpool and Bournemouth won the first leg 2-1 but Blackpool drew 1-1 in the second leg and went through. They ended up going up into the Championship.
