i signed David from Benfica (originally Palmeiras) in summer 2014. He hasnt got a work permit. The deal was done on deadline day so im not sure if its a bug or not - but it says he has no work permit! Because of his time in Portugal, it says he is considering citizenship with Portugal - but i wish he'd hurry up cos ive got an injury nightmare and i need him to play! Any ideas? If he didn't get a work permit, you would have been warned before you signed him, Do you have a feeder club you could loan him to so he could improve his chances of gaining a work permit?

i think i was warned but i bought him anyway... doh! i havent got a decent feeder club he can go to... but also, hes been in portugal long enough, i need him to agree to citizenship!

Which again begs the question as to why we don't have an interaction option to "encourage" a player to take on a second nationality.

Surely in this case the player should immediately apply for and EU passport, or else he will never play for his new club.
