YCH: that advice was incredible ... adriano's value was 23 million euros ... i did everything you said and ended up asking for 22 million, plus 20 million over 24 months and 50% of next sale and it worked! liverpool took him off my hands.

I just tryed that advice with Adebayor. Don't really use him at all sits in the reserves. Tryed to offload him in the summer for decent money with no success.

I sold VP for combined Value of £60m to barca making the bids public got real interested. Initially they were dubious on paying 30m.

The breakdown of the final deal was;
initial £fee 20m
24 months £40m
30% sell on.

Also sold Eboue for 27m combined, denilson for about 20m, and an exchange of Song and 3.3m for Navas. Djourou was on his way for 57m combined but he rejected the contract from At. Madrid. So i could have made a lot lot more. I now have a 120m transfer fund and thats with spending 14m on players this season.

Hopefully the unrealistic values of players and fees have been sorted in the patch as i do feel this needs tweeking.

Unrealistic monthly installents is a known bug and it's cheating in my book. You're exploiting an obvious flaw in the AI.

You're right in the strict sense, this is exploiting the AI.

I can see how getting huge 24 mo. installments feels cathartic, however.

In light of going as the AI comes back to "negotiate" with a counter-offer much larger than my original bid.

I thought it probably was a bug. But until the patch is released I'm not playing a serious game anyway, I chose Arsenal for starters. When I do start with the patch it'll be alot more challenging.

I agree, my current game with all this going on is a test game. You make mistakes short and long term so that you dont make them again. I would hope that in the patched version that i can keep my players without them being unsettled by rival bids and me rejecting them whcih in turns makes them unhappy.
