Many off the top teams are hard to beat irl too...But i am playing as arsenal, and tend to "outshoot" any team with my tatics,home or away,but does it give me certain victories?, nope.That is, i still only have lost at home 4 times in 4 seasons, and that would seem about right,but mind you i am still dissapointed about it.

Is this genuinely a 'bug' or a way of making it harder ordo I really have to have 40 shots against Birmingham to get a victory?

Your tempo goes a long way to determine the quality of shots your having! If your playing a fast tempo the chances are they will rush their shots and not scoring as a consequence! I have now taken to playing a slower tempo

So if you play high tempo this will make the players composure/finishing useless??

Even tho i get what you are saying i dont think the tactic means quick tempo including when you shoot, if you are put through with a chance you should shoot like in any other situation.

Another thing...

When I'm chasing a game I seem to create more chances when I play one up front and play 'defensive' rather than 3 up front and 'all out attack'.

Anyone else noticed this?

I am finding FM08 the hardest one ever so far i want to manage my team Sunderland but usually get relegated or doing extremely bad the same has happened on games i have started with Torquay and Crewe. Even though i outshoot the opponants by some distance.
