I tend to focus mainly on EU countries and U19 tournaments.

Exactly- If I play a lower league team then I would add Scandanavia.

I stopped bothering with scouts. Any small country brings back 0 reports, any big country brings back every single multi-million player.

Thanks, I'll put that report saying that Drogba would be a good signing in with the ones about Ronaldihno, Eto, Villa and Higuain.

Utterly useless.

Then the new star system is crap, you do not get reports of young players, and then any you do get are rated at 3 stars no matter what their potential is, it all means you don't get any meaningful feedback...

Anyone who gets 4 stars would already cost 20 million to buy, and anyone with 5 stars is already a superstar.

One of the latest scout reports is:
4 stars for potential. However the scout says "is some way off having the required potential to be better than Vidic". Why is he 4 stars then?

The old system was much much better, and rated the player on their own merit, not some supposed rating against whatever the scout thinks are the current squad strengths, which are notoriously stupid when you read Assistant reports.

Oh, and the leagues running are:
Australia, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, N.Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, South Africa, Indonesia, South Korea, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, MLS and Mexico.

Once I get a couple of seasons into a game (which I haven't with 08 so far), I scout every continent and the under 19 and 21 tournaments.
