Hi all,

After playing my first fm 2008 match I think i will download the patch after playing the game for myself. But do you actually think it is worth it? Will the patch actually fix the problems required or do tou think the orginal game is better, your thoughts please.

IMO depends on how good your PC is.
My laptop sucks and I wouldn't dare run 8.0.1 beta match calculations on it.

Thanks Number 7 and Ulisses, the reason I ask is becasue I like to know the actual game i am playing is not buggy before I can get into it. Do you think the amount of bugs depends on each game?

Emm

Yes. Not everyone encounters the same bugs.

If your game ir running fine and you are enjoying it then I would suggest continuing it until the main patch is out and then updating with that.

i think the actual game is good but the 2d engine is unrealistic in terms of the how the goals are scored and isn't as smooth as previousversions. Are they going to improve this is it a common problem?

me the match engine is gone insane here i beat man united 3-1 and when i continued it says man united win at sunderland 1-0 also came up when playing with guam that i lost 8-0 to brazil but the real score was 16-0 haha
