When I installed FM08, when completed it said "install complete but with errors". I didn't pay too much attention and just clicked ok and started playing, no problems.
Saved and quit. Then came to play the next day and noticed there was no icon on my desktop to click on to start the game. Also the software in general seems to be missing from any possible locations. It is on, but I can't start the game up no matter what I try.
Tried re-installing, and it completes with the same "errors" message as above, but does'nt reach the game starting stage.
If you are using Vista, then it doesnt install a desktop shortcut as before. Go to Start, Games, Games Explorer and the start icon is in there. If you want a desktop icon you will have to do it through the program folder.
