I'm playing with Atalanta. Three seasons ago I brought in a brazilian FRED(also have french and german as second nationalities).
This season Milan started bidding for co-ownership on him. They started out at €1M, and now they're bidding €8,25M...
Crazy bid
I'm tempted to accept it, it's a lot of money for the club, and I even get to keep the player for two years.
Question is, why don't they try to buy the player 100% when they are bidding 3.5 times his value.

Because this way, they get to effectively loan him out to you for 2 years.

Also, if a bid of £8.25m is not enough for 50% of the player, then that means they'd have to bid £16.5m for 100%, which they probably don't want to do.

Well, I accepted the bid. But the player rejected the deal because he wanted a bigger match bonus
