Is there any way I can make them look like they did in the previous FM versions ?

Options > Preferences > Display & Sound

Untick 'Full Screen' and then resize the window to fit your screen.

Didn't help. The dont's are still freeking big.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I didn't explain myself enough.

In pitch view that is on one half of the screen, the dots are as big as on the big pitch view.

I want to have a small dots, that were like in FM 2005, 2006 and 2007, without the number of the shirt inside the dot.

If the dots were not so sumo wrestler sized then perhaps there would not be so many shots blocked by the defenders/goalkeeper.

Actually I remember playing one match recently where the player 'circles' were much smaller then normal. I think this was due to the pitch size but I forgot to investigate it further and haven't noticed it since.

Having said all that though, I think it's high time the match engine graphics got a overhaul as they haven't been alter since CM4 was released which is 6 versions ago. SI can't afford to keep regurgitating the same match engine graphics without trying to improve them.

Mind you, this isn't a veiled attempt for requesting a 3D engine, I think that would be the wrong direction to go for the game but do believe a more interesting sprite based graphics engine a la Kick Off series etc.
