yeah those mamuth-like dots, were killing me to. try windowed mode (helps me), or there is some command to improve your graphics, I think on FM.exe file....ask someone....

If you are on XP right click your desktop icon > properties > at the end of the Target line which is '' press the space bar and put
-windowed -small_screen

Click ok and then load up FM again.
