3 1/2 million pounds.
thats what it just cost me to expand my farsley celtic stadium (throstle nest) by only 2000.
newly promoted and now completely broke, will find it hard to stay in the comp with transfer fees of 0.

Does seem a little extreme with the funds for an expansion of only 2000.

I try to leave stadium expansions to the board and don't request it.

If you look at RL estimates for building a new stadiums, then divide the cost per 1000 seats, it seems quite cheap by comparison

RL example...

Liverpool's proposals have soared up towards 700m for a 70,000 stadium.

My calculations make that 10,000 pounds per seat, therefore as a comparison for 2,000 seats - 20 million pounds for 2,000 seats.

at least you had an expansion, the first expansion the board made for me didn't actually do anything, I got all the messages and status in club info but no change to the capacity in the end. the following season they did tried again, this time it actually worked.

Are you playing with the new patch? i had problems with derby. i was in the champions league many seasons on, huge wage bill and my capacity just wounldn't increase, well it did increase then the next time i loaded the game the capacity was reduced to its original size. i soon went into administration. The patch fixes these problems

Wow that does seem expensive, but explains why my board always refuses to expand the stadium. I mainly try to get the training ground up to a good standard as it is fairly cheap to get it up to around top training facilities.

Youth facilities and the stadium do seem to be a lot more expensive now.

Makes my deal look like a real bargain. For £10Million, my board have bought me a shiny new 13000 all-seater stadium.

Expensions are cheaper then new stadiums (per seat) as you don't have to pay for development or taxes
