Hey
I'm currently in my second season as Aberdeen Football Club manager in the Scottish Premier League. I had a very successful opening season finishing third in the league and taking my side to a 2-0 victory over Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final.
However, in contrast to these glory days my second season has started in disaster. 10 games,6 losses,2 draws and 2 wins. My team currently sit 10th in the league.
What has me shocked is that my team have got stronher in the summer.
Arrivals Of:
Tall:Signed for free from Hearts-Right Back
Stewart Kean:120k from St.Mirren-Striker
Tugay-Free Blackburn-Reserve Midfielder
Johann Micoud-Reserve Midfielder Free
Mark Kerr-Dundeee Utd Midfielder free
Only players that left were the rubbish derek soutar and Lee Miller who was a good player.
In the first season teams didn't know what to expect - they saw you as little threat and attacked accordingly.
Now they know you have something about you and will approach your games much more defensively - this is the first true test of your management ability.
You need to find a way to break down the more defensive tactics you'll now be facing.
