I'm with a fictional team who I put in in the editor, who play in the field outside my house. Won the Blue Square South in Season 1, FA Trophy and Setanta Shield in Season 2, and am 1st in Blue Square Premier Season 3. It's like a legacy.
i put FC united in the blue sq prem and came 1st with them in in my 1st season also won the FA trophy , season 2 in leauge 2 i narrowly missed the play offs and now season 3 im 3rd with 6 games left. Made some decent ex prem signing like seth johnson and malcolm christie also got man utd everton and bolton as parent clubs
My first game on the FM08 and i chose Leeds (dunno why - liked the idea of a -15 point start and money problems). In 2nd season - mid table championship.
P.s. what is the Dafuge challenge i keep hearing about?????????
Best to check the forums but its basically taking a previously unplayable side all the way through the English divisions to Prem and Champions League glory. One of the best challenges out there. :thup:
I'm currently doing Gundo's challenge (equally good) and am managing Slavonija in the Croatian league. Just won the league in my 8th season. Europe beckons.
I started a new game yesterday at Platinum Stars in the South African top flight. I'm doing well, top in the league with a decent looking side and I've just won manager of the month. It's early days in the season but I'm quite optimistic.
I've just given up on a game which saw me get Wrexham promoted, sign a star and an incompetent tw*t from France (both internationals for African nations with bundles of caps between them), have a bad time in League 1, leave for Spain, miss out on taking Cadiz back to La Liga thanks to a 6-4 defeat on the last day of the season and get frustrated and bored within a few months at Antalyaspor in Turkey.
