Hiya guys,

Need some help and would be really apphiciative if somebody could help me.

The Issue: me and a friend have connected fine before on FM08, but now i'm using my dads laptop, and my friend is using a new PC. He is the secondry person to the connection, so when he sets up a newtowk game, he has a IP address, the a slash, the a second IP address. I also have this, where i have an IP address like this for example: 192.168.2.6/83.1.2.208

Which one do we use, we have both tried the first, the second, both with a space inbetween the slash, and without. can't think of anything else ... Confused

Would really apprichiate a constructive answer, and thanks again ...

this one, and if it dosnt work then you may need to configure a static ip (see www.portforward.com) or configure your firewall to accept the game by opening certain ports.

Also turning off antivirus software can occasionally help

Is it possible that you are not using the same version of the game? Both must have the same patch applied in order to connect properly

It's always the I.P after the slash (/)

You are both trying to host by the looks of it. One should host and the other join.
