The results will be interesting and useful but nobody should start believing that the results of this will be vital and eye-opening for SI.
Most of all it will probably be good for settling the commmon arguments on this forum, that seems to be what the questions where based around rather than market research for SI.
Good survey Dane0, look forward to the results

Very good . Imo, the most needed change is difficulty levels, it's just too hard at the moment.

Thats how surveys work. Any survey will always only consist of a small cross-section of the opinions, but statistically they paint a good picture which is why surveys are taken in all walks of life.

The results will be biased by the usual standing of these boards though - there's a hell of a lot more negative people posting than positive*
*and I don't include you as being negative as you're (mostly ) constructive

Great survey.
According to my later answers I should have rated the patched 08 lower than I did. Once you consider the elements of the game seperately it's an all-around poor show.
But a very well written survey. Hopefully the answers will explain what this forums multiple threads try to do, but in a pithy style.
Except the default defense of "not everyone who buys it is online and it's your tactics anyway"

Great idea. I've completed the survey very quickly and painlessly. I think it will be great to have some quantitative data- I'm sick of the polarisation of most forums. The game is not yet world class nor it is a waste of time. I enjoy playing the patched FM2008 immensely although there are still a few issues to solve e.g. regens CA, 1-on-1's, board confidence etc. I'm sure 8.0.2 will be sound. Cheers for the hard work and taking the time to design the survey. A very constructive post!
