I was forced by the Everton board to leave my post after half a day.

I was out of a job (quit Lyon because I had won everything) and was looking for a new challenge. Everton fired their manager so I took the job, moments later Sir Alex Ferguson retires after winning the serie A with Inter and I applied for that job. The press asked me if the rumours were true and I said: I can't miss an opportunity like Inter.

Everton board came in straight away telling me to resign as manager to save my reputation or else they would fire me. :eek:

So I quit, didn't get the Inter job and became Marseille manager a few weeks later.

Crystal Palace sacked me after 67 days, this was before the patch. Fully deserved too; I might add.

I think I was with Falkirk for about a month. They were in First Division and completely crap. Moral wouldn't go up. I applied for a few jobs, and they told me to resign. So I released every player from first squad, reserve and under 18's on frees, then resigned, declared interest in a Man City job, they sacked their manager right away and offered me the position, I accepted. I'm hoping to get them promoted back into the premier league.
