I downloaded a new kit pack for championship teams from FM underground. Now it's been put into the right place as it's basicly over written my old championship kits yet it doesn't work.

All i have is blank kits. I'm a wrong to assume that new kits will work on a saved game or would i have to start a new one for them to work?

Any help would be great or a detailed walk through of what to do, thanks.

go to preferences (options) on the game and go to 'display and sound'. uncheck the box that say 'use skin cache' and the check the box that say 'reload skin on confirm' then click confirm. this basically reloads any new graphics you have added, so everytime you add new graphics do this process. you can put the preferences back to normal if you wish once you see the new graphics have been loaded.

I tried that but nothing was loaded. Because the new file was written over the old one now i get just have blank kits which is annoying. Any other idea's what the problem could be?

are the names of the kits the same as the names in the 'config.xml' file? because the new kits names may be slightly different to the ones you deleted?

Well i checked the kit names from other leagues and they look exactly the same in terms of config file names to the other teams in the football league. I only downloaded championship kits so i'm still baffled. If i download new kits will they work on a saved game?

yeah they should work in a saved game mate. when you downloaded the new kits did it come with a config file within the kits? if so the best thing to do is download the kits you want again and rather than pasting it over the existing file delete it first then past the new file into the kist folder.

Tried it and it still don't work. Tried starting a new game and still no luck. Oh well, thanks for your help matey. If anyone else has any idea just reply to this.
