In my case, I just had to use it basically to get rid of this bug the game never got rid of by adding a 2nd nationality to a player.

But now I've used the editor for a whole lot more than that.

LOL, well I certainly don't do that!

But I don't have a problem with other people doing what they want, with their games, of course.

I actually haven't used it to cheat at ALL! I have no intentions to do so either. Hell.. I haven't even looked at my players' 'personality' ratings (To check how professional a certain player is or how dirty or temperamental, etc. ) because I feel even that's sorta cheating.

It's something I have to get to know about myself through my interaction and experience with the players and I'm doing just that and won't look in the editor which could give me 'clues' about how to handle a certain player better (but that'd be getting an advantage I shouldn't have in my books so I won't even do that )

But yeh, you're definitely right. The curiosity hits you and then you find yourself spending hours more with the editor than you thought you'd be.

Heheh... for example for me, I've been checking my 'attributes' to see what sorta rating for 'ambition or loyalty' the game has given me thus far, etc.

I'm quite SHOCKED by some of them though. :eek:

LOL, I've no idea how the game thinks I have ambition rating of 'one' when I'm sorta the opposite of that!

This is what I basically started this thread for and was keen to hear about. Things like this.

Not a lot of people have shared them though which could be viewed as a positive thing meaning, barely anybody has had any bad experiences with it or just that people don't care and aren't bothered to reply. :p

You could edit the nationality of Switzerland and make them a member of the EU, this should then make all Swiss players non FGN.

Have you done that by the way? It doesn't cause any crash or anything because a change like that (becoming a member of EU) is done in middle of the game, does it? :p

Damn...... bad news guys.

I've just had my first bad experience with this great tool.

I play in La Liga where players have to be 'registered' in order to be eligible to take part in league matches and one of my players has just for some reason been un-registered and 'ineligible' for next league match out of nowhere!

I'm sure I registered him along with my other 24 players after January transfer window closed but for some reason now, he's suddenly showing as 'ineligible'.

I had used FMM to make him (my own player) more 'unloyal' and ambitious to get him closer to real life and also slightly lowered his "Min Fee Release Clause" (which didn't work anyway) and it looks like, these changes have cost me badly because for some reason, it led to that.

Yep, sadly, the editor for some reason has decided, it wants to unregister and as a result make this player ineligible for me!!

I know this because I now went back to an earlier save game which takes me back to the same day (Feb 4th) yet before I had done a lot of tweaks and hours spent on training, etc. and that play IS registered as I knew I had done cuz I would never forget to register him seeing as how he's an important first teamer.
