More apoligies for this third post, I just thought of something else I wanted to ask. This will be the last one though, I promise! lol.

Which of the strikers would you set as your target man in the set you suggest Leroy? The one that remains team mentality or the one whose mentality you adjust?

I think Leroy means the 12th notch along from the first and not the 12th click from the 1st. You'll find that most people refer to slider settings as the xth notch out of the 20 (or 22 when referring to team mentality).

And I believe that the TM would be the one with the high mentality, but it you don't actually state it by putting someone in the target man list, then it doesn't matter.

Yes I consider any slider set to the left most notch to be 1.

I would also set my target man as being the striker with the greater mentality.

Used it in the second half at the Memorial Ground/Stadium(?) when 1-0 up and went on to win 2-0

P.S It's the Memorial Stadium now, I think the change from Memorial Ground was when Rovers purchased the ground from the Bristol Rugby Club.

Yeah, I was confused when I saw it said 'Stadium' in the match because I've always known it as 'Ground' and I'm a football ground name buff

In short, Easter didn't score for me. Actually this is quite funny, so I'll detail it a little more even though it's OT. He left at the end of the 2nd season when his contract expired. I got promoted in my 1st season and at the end of my 2nd season he agreed to join Rovers on a free who had just got promoted themself. Hence this was a League One game, but thanks to that (and thanks to yourself ) I'm hopefully out of League One after 3 seasons there.

Back on topic, I'll report back later when I use this in more games hopefully. It's these sort of games that I've been struggling with - away games against lower table opposition (Rovers are 23rd) and I should be beating teams like this but haven't been. In the first half I used a slightly defensive tactic, then thought switching to this counter tactic would be useful because they changed to a long farrowed 4-4-2 for the start of the second half, then went to a non-farrowed 4-4-2 when I got the second.

Reporting back after some more games using this and it's working well. I still need to improve my tactics away against lower table teams, but this works well in the 2nd half when leading as any home team would attack you more then.

What has been more successful for me, though, is when I used this from the start of a game. Away at Saints who were 4th and I dominated the whole game. Not only did I see plenty of chances, but the shot and SOT stats were very impressive with 14 shots, 13 of them being on target. Unfortunately, their keeper was nearly invincible and I drew 1-1. Not bothered about the result, though, because the performance was immense :thup:
