Ok I have been managing Ferencvaros in the Hungarian League for 6 seasons now. When I first started, my regular training facilities were 'average' and i had four ok coaches. Fast forward to where I am now and my training facilities are 'excellent' and I have 8 very good coaches with 4 or 5 star ratings in each category. And yet the attributes of my players have hardly changed a jot in that period, they rarely increase at all no matter what age the player is, in fcat more often than not they decline.
No matter how much my facilities or coaches improve, there is no ostensible difference in my players. For the record i have set up several different schedules for different positions similar to those i have used in previous versions of FM with great sucess and have appointed one coach to each schedule. Anyone offer any advice whatsoever? Or is it just fundamentally flawed.

Check to see whether your players or happy with their schedule or not. If not, they won't improve as much. Also, if your players are at close to their full potential then they won't really improve much either. Also, coaches have CA and PA too so that could be a factor. Also, certain players are more inclined to improve in some areas and not others i.e. it might be more difficult to get a flair attacking midfielder to improve his defending and work rate.
However, the main thing I think is getting a good training schedule. I suggest 'Matts Training' - just search the forums and download it. Give it a week or two and then have a look at your players again. Hope that helps.
Ok cheers, I'll give it a go, any chance of a link please?
Im still convinced that its just a big bag of sh*t but Im prepared to try anything now as im at the end of my tether with it

"matts training" is working great for me
Same here. The only schedule I have a prob with is the Centre Back Schedule coz there isn't enough aerobic training in it for my liking. Did you alter it? I put strength training down to the middle of medium and high and then increased the aerobic training to high, although my centre backs aren't really improving like the rest of the team!
