i take you mean lower league team ?
if so then yeah they good, i used them in FM 06 with lower league scottish and english teams, they worked better on some teams than others but its always dependent on your players, if you look at your team, check positions players can play at, if they can cover then it should work well

ok ive played 8 games but away from home have struggled a lot the oppisition have dominated do you change anything for away games mate

personally i dont change anything, same formation always.
Possibly try, with the two wide midfielders, either taking their runs off or make them go straight horizontal, this way they are more likely to remain in the middle of the field and work against the opponent rather than leave a open hole.

things to maybe tweak and try yourself is in the team instructions area of tactics, look at the tackling, defensive line and closing down, maybe adjust them to what you may think from seeing parts of your games,

great tactic although i took the often long shots of some of the players as they were tending to shoto from far out all the time
