Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default 442 how can you improve you defensive displays home and away

I have just completed my first season as Arsenal. I did my usual of not buying anyone and finished third and won the league cup. Attacking wise I was awesome scoring 100+ goals in all compititions and Henry bagged over 50 goals in all compititions. Defensively though I was poor. Sometimes against top teams i'd have my fullbacks marking their man tigh as well as the centrebacks.

I was still leaking goals left right and centre though and this untimately cost me the league. I always set me tackling to normal both home and away. I know time wasting a defensive line can alter the performance I just need to know the best way to do this.

make sure your defensive line is all on the same mentality if u play a long or direct passing game put your defensive line deep if u play a short passing game push up your defensive line
