I am the manager of a low-league team, and I noticed that most of my players have quite a hugh flair ability (12 of my first team selection have 15 or higher).
Now I am wondering if I can put this to my advantage, and how? Should I up the creative freedom, or is there another tactical move I can make?
Well, i would suggest run with ball, Flair is how creative a player is at beating their marker, If your players have high dribbling aswell, you'll have a team how are skillful with the ball at their feet.
I think flair is quite useful by taking penalties .
And then in combination with other attributes like creativity, dribbling and finishing. Because you never exactly know what is player with high flair going to do. Unexpected killer passes, dribbles and various styles of finishing (lobs etc.). I think this attribute is naturally useful for your attacking players.
I find that players with high flair quite often take long shots at goal, can be a bit of a problem if their rubbish at it!
I think it links in with long shots in the same way creativity links in with through balls
Flair is like showoff kinda.
If a nice cross came in for an easy header your player, if he has high flair, he will ATTEMPT to overhead kick it.
Or instead of tapping it he will flick it up and volley it in.
Its not a great attribute for bad players, but for good players you might just witness the best piece of skill you have ever seen on FM
At Chelsea, I have Kaka, Aguero, Vela, Henry, Adriano, Robben, Ronaldo, J.Cole and Ibrahimovic who all have very high flair. The only thing that they do is not follow any arrows I set. Also occaisionally one of them will take a free kick even if they're not set as the taker. I give three of them high creative freedom at any one time, but most of them aren't on the pitch toghter so it's not hard.
