This is going to be a moany post about how often this happens, simply seeking some tactical assistance from you good folks.

Has anyone else figured out a good way to combat this? I've tried moving up time wasting, but that only seems to help so much. Getting quite frustrated, anyone got a bit of advice??

just make sure that ur team scores in the last minute of the game and make u lead, that way the opp wont score anymore.

Now seriously...

When i get a lead against a stronger team, i switch to a more defensive style of play with counter attack and a fast TM.
When its against a weaker team, i just push up my Defense Line and play offside trap, as that seems to get the AI frustrated very fast as they hardly every beat it due to lack of individual quality.

Also, cheers sm_tlv, i'll try your suggestions, i'd been trying variations on what you suggested, but maybe it just needs a little tweaking.

thanks isuntribes, but not really looking to use someone else's tactic, just want a bit of tactical advice on how to tighten up after scoring a goal.

I downloaded this tactic and it completely changed my perception of FM7. You're not going to win every game but so far it is the best tactic around for FM07. Believe me, i downloaded every single tactic in this forum but this one really works...it's from a guy called Yang, look him up in the forum!

I think it boils down to concentration levels etc! There is a general agreement also with managers, that Teams are at their most vulnerable when they have just scored!
