Playing with liverpool. Have assitant coach set up friendlies but always end up with lower league teams. How do i invite bigger teams to play friendlies against me.

I think your probably in the wrong forum mate, you'll get a better responce in the general questions.

You can stil invite teams for friendlies manually, but often big teams will reject you.

Offer them a fee is the only way. For example my chairman says the friendly will bring in 500k so I offer a fee of 160K. This has worked for me with Spanish and German teams (Real Madrid Barcelona, Bayern Munich) but the Italians seem more reluctant. This was in 2nd season as West Ham.

Try arranging a friendly competition. Suppose the chairman thinks you'll get around 1.7m then you can offer the three teams around 200k and they'll be happy to join. As you're playing with liverpool, your reputation is high and they will most likely accept your invitation.
I never allow my Ast. Manager arrange friendlies. He always gets me teams like Swansea, Huddersfield, Dorchester even though im in the Premiership.

Also priase the manager of the team in the press before requesting a friendly - if the responce is positive then apply for a friendly against them, offer 15 - 20% of the takings and ta daam you get a friendly with a high profile team and raise good income in the preseason!
