Yer they are very good tactics

One problem i had was that i won this home game as fulham against leeds 1-0

i had 16 shots off target and only 3 on target ? any tactical tweaking to improve this?

Man, i just don't know what i'm doing wrong with this game ... i've been playing these games since the championship manager series, and don't consider myself a pro .. but i've always been able to find a tactic (made by others) that'll work for my squad. My training is always well, i find the more you play players, the ratings usually go up with any of the well recommended training packages here ... with this game, i'm having SO MUCH trouble winning that it's totally wearing me out. I've tried about every of the most recommended tactics, including this one, exactly how it's been specified, and nuthin lol .. not even close !!! I get blown out by good teams, and either beat and tie total sub par teams ... can someone give me some help lol ...
My first squad is as follows ..

Guardado Robben
Lampard Ballack
Cole Terry M.Richards Ratinho

other notable players ...
Higuain, Enyeama, Taiwo, Billy Jones, Boulahrouz, Shevchenko, Cardenas, Kalou, Haestad, Mikel ...

Like i said, with a squad with quality players like this, i've always been able to find a tactic wich would extremely help .. in fact, to the point that i'd be blowing out good teams .. don't know what i'm doing wrong right now ..

Oh and one other thing .. injuries are CONSTANT, 2-3 a game .. it's unreal, almost unbelievable !! I've tried at least 8 different training packs as well.

Check my thread the Sheffield United Project out. Look at how I set up for games and what changes I make game by game, then apply some of that to your tactic and see what happens.

I totally agree that making your own tactics and training is the best, and fully makes you appreciate this game .. however, i neither the time or patients .. i more of the 'plug and play' type of person. Like i said, i've never ever had a problem finding a pre-done tactic that would help me ... just played a game against Aston Villa .. away game, wet conditions .. tried the away wet tactic .. GK, DC's closing down .. wingers tackling hard, fc's tight marking ... lost 4-0, injuries to Enyeama, Terry, Gago and Shevchenko ... using Alcoholic's training .. (and don't get me wrong, i've tried dozens of others), i don't think training is my problem .. all my players stats are going up .. i just can't win ??!!

Quick question for you Crazy....What attributes do you look for when considering a player for your MC (attacking one). I have been using your tactics for a while now with a few minor alterations to fit my players, however the attack minded MC is only scoring 7's predominently. How are yours fairing?

I have used Augusto, Gourcuff and mokoena in that position with limited success for them.

Gra, I just want to say thanks.

Started using it halfway through my second season as villa and things are looking brighter everyday. I was starting to slump after falling from 2nd in the PRM to 4th in a mere two weeks. Even gago was threatening to leave the club but with our recent success he has decided to stay. Gra kept Gago at Villa!

if you're having problems with training, then i'd just suggest using the general training for the moment.

did you make your players do this i.e. put your GK and DCs on higher closing down etc? this will make everything a lot different.

what i meant there is the opposition instructions page in the tactics in-game, where you can select different levels of closing down, tackling, marking and showing onto a specific foot. this is where those instructions should be applied, but always watch out for when the opposition change formation as this can throw a spanner in the works.

main attributes are i look for in an MCa are:
technique
passing
first touch
long shots
creativity

and others like work rate, stamina, flair and natural fitness are also important.
