Looks like we have over 100 new features to look forward to, including match flow that will apparently make the game that much more realistic?.

Is this going to make any difference to the match engine and the way it has been programmed?...i think not!.

Why add so many features when at least half of them will need tweaking before the game is out for full release?.

Why not do a transfer update and get right what they got so badly wrong in 07?.

Simply because they are trying to blind you with the new features and when you finally have them all worked out only then will you realise just what a horses arse they've made of the match engine AGAIN!.

I'll d/load the demo only this time and see what they've given us?.

Only problem with that is the promises of improvements in the patch which get you thinking that they might just have sorted it this time around?.

Not helped by the 6 geeks on the boards spreading the word of how beautiful the new game is, only to turn round 2 months later and tell you its ****!.

I dont think i can win either way?.

How can you possibly slag off a game that has not been released based on your prediction that SI are lying to us and that they have flawed the match engine.

Give the game a chance and stop posting threads like these that waste everbody's time

I think they'll sort out a lot of the problems. Too many people have been too vocal for them not to have sorted this stuff out. To what extent they succeed at that is up in the air, but I don't doubt (at this stage) their good intentions to address the concerns of those that dislike the current version.

look at the list of improvements hammer. They state the match engine will be greatly improved.So fingers crossed it should be a lot better.

Check out the screenshots. There's match reports as well. Which although vague states the failings of the team, such as weakness in the final third.

Yeah, come on mate, let's give them a chance. There is no way we can judge the game until it's out. I am sure they have listened to the forums, and I have great faith in 08. Of course, I say this every year, but let us wait eh?...

Your right fella's, but i cant help being so sceptical.

Does the game really need 100 new features?.

Can we expect to see these new features incorporated into the game AND see major improvements from 07, thats my worry?.

My prioritys would have been...

Sort out the match engine
Sort out the transfer system
Sort out the regens
Sort out the team talks
Sort out the lack of rotation in AI controlled teams

There are hundreds of others that need sorting, i'd be very suprised if most of these have even been taken into consideration?.

I hope i'm wrong and i'm more than ready to admit it!.

It really gets boring. Even if SI sorted everything out, they did it the way they (not you, me, or anybody else) understand football. So I am 100% sure you will complain again. You have not even tried it, yet everything is already bad.

Just curious, when you play real football, you also always say that everybody does everything wrong?

Yeah if the feedback system has improved sufficiently I think this could be really revolutionary - not necessarily to the game (to th it will be evolutionary) but to these forums. ie: I don't think you'll accuse the game of cheating any more Hammer. However I stress the word sufficiently there....

but i asked what improvement were made on the fm 08 page and have still not received an answer!!!!!!!!!

there no need to ignore a genuine question unless you dont have the answer!!
