Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Pitch Dimensions

Playing as Liverpool and I've just moved into New Anfield with the max pitch dimensions that I can have being - lenth 119m width 92m.

Just looking for a few opinions -

Which pitch dimensions do you play with?

Which pitch dimensions would you like to play with?

Which pitch dimensions suit certain styles of play?

Have any of ye played with dimensions that big and if so what was the outcome?
--------------------------------------

When at home I play a wide passing game with great pace on the wings and up front. I'm quite tempted to experiment and play with the maximum dimensions.

The best answer I've seen to this was posted somewhere else by someone else, but goes like: If you are a top team in the division, go with the longer/wider dimensions particularly if it suits your style of play (ball control, wing play). But if you are a low team in the division, have a short pitch so you can put every man back to defend the space and close down the better opposition.

Other thoughts? Did I get something wrong there?

Ya those were pretty much my thoughts too. Looking forward to seeing how big this pitch will be now!
