im middlesborough with 23million in the third season and need a top quality striker desperately!!

im looking at and asamoah gyan and some other kid who my scouts found called daniele vantaggiato. who should i sign???

Gyan is very good indeed. He'll definitely be a good signing. I'm not sure about Vantaggiato. He's got ability for sure but I think he's quite under-developed. And since he's around 25-26 (in your game), dont think he'll improve much either. But if he's 2-3M (as he is in my game, end of first season), then yeah go for it.

You can look at Cesar Delgado who's a cheap and very good player as well. Just go to all the big clubs and have a look at all their players and which ones are listed as "backup". You can pick these guys up very cheap. In my game, Saviola is going for 8M, Baptista for 7M, Bodmer for 5M etc etc. So yeah, just check out all the big clubs and look at who their back-ups are. You'll find some great players who are just rotting there. :thup:

Just thought of another one. If you havent won any major trophies in the 3 years you've played, then the bigger players will probably not want to come to you. In that case you could have a look at this guy called Ikechukwu Uche. He plays for Getafe. He's an excellent finisher, good header, excellent pace, strength and stamina and decent dribbling as well. Not the best in the world I suppose but very good. And he should be available for less than 15M. Never played with him though if I'm honest. But yeah, he seems pretty good. Give him a shot!
