Default MC/DM destroyer needed as cover
Hey, just wondering if anyone could help.
Season 08/09, playing as Newcastle, I need a MC/DM (MC with barrow) as cover for Barton.

I would prefer a 'destroyer' type, but if anyone has suggestions with a bit more class I've got about 6 mil to spend. Also preferably english/prem trained for europe.

look under the reserve sides for teams like arsenal and milan. Found denilson there in my 2nd season and pirlo in milans in my 3rd.. both snapped up cheaply.

i got tomas sivok at sunderland on mine and he been class, got decent long shots for when he gets foward but my 3 scouts all sed he rarely lets a man get past him, and so far he's not disappointed. he starts at udinese.

Muambe of Birmingham City is good, I was playing hik in season 1 in the Prem and he turned into wonderkid.

Not sure how much he would cost though?

Although I was 'forced' to sell to Chelsea for £50million structured deal in season 2

What.. is a... Destroyer type???
Younes Kaboul is a very very decent holding midfield.. who was 18 for long shots to start off with so he's a decent 'destroyer?'
but playing just outside the back4, i wouldnt want him bombing far upfield too much...
OR u could travel across the atlantic all the way to mexico to grab Omar Esparza.. who starts with 19 for longshots.. but not as good as kaboul in overall

"Destroyer" = DM who sits in front of the back four and breaks up attacks. Think Mascherano, Gattuso, Makelele.

Is Diaby any good? Might be able to grab him as he's languishing in the Gooners' reserves.
