Hi guys, havent beeen around for a while having been in house-moving purgatory.


but, one thing about fm07 is bugging me (which undoubtedly has already been raised):

- the number of players you get offered????

I've been playing as Terrassa in Spain div2b and i get offered £1m+ players on free on a regular basis. (Levante are the usual culprits for some reason...)

my wage structure scuppers any attempts to sign them mind.

is this common in other leagues? it cant be realistic shirly.

Yeah this has been raised many times its happened to me also but mainly when managing abroad (non uk teams)I think it just depends what team you go but yes i agree truly annoying.

I'm at Maia in Portugal and Crystal Palace just offered me their Argie backup GK :eek: For free.

I couldn't sign him if I wanted to, as despite having a very generous board who'll let me scout large chunks of mainland Europe, I'm not allowed to scout him.

Yep since getting promotion my Aldershot side are being offer 3 or 4 free spaniards a week!!

I can't even scout in Spain so I have no idea if there any good or not but it gets really annoying rejecting the same offers week after week.

Yep, I was managing in Spain and got offered loads of players.

I raised this issue in the bugs forum and got the answer that they're looking into this.

The bigger problem for me is the same clubs continually offering the same players to me on loan, over and over again. In my saved game, I was offered the same four players no less than 10 times. I kept rejecting the offers and the idiot clubs would keep coming back with the same players and the exact same loan terms. These players were not on my shortlist. They were just random players that kept being offered repeatedly.

I've only been offered about 3 players on loan in the transfer window of my first season, so can't say I've been overwhelmed.

What did **** me off though, was that I accepted one of the offers, only to have the player refuse to come on loan...... why offer him in the first place if he's just going to turn me down?
