For anybody who's dealt with this b4:
I'm managing a team in the Welsh Premier League which, as you may know, has no lower league to be relegated to in FM2007. My first season was a disaster, wrong batch of players, my low reputation, whatever. I was sitting in dead last on the league table on the final day of the season and needed to make up seven goals to avoid relegation. I was resigned to my fate, wholly expecting to get fired, thus I came up with some wild scheme on the tactics screen that involved lots of those little arrow things. Well, I won 4-0 the team in 15th position lost 3-0 and I avoided relegation.
So my question is should I be patting myself on the back (and thanking my players) or should I have known this was gonna happen because there's no other playable league to drop down to?
BTW, things are looking better in season 2, I'm currently in 7th position and hoping to move up with about 8 games to go.
