Anyone else but me sits here left without a scout, i had one, but he turned out to be an asshat to jump ship 2 days after i joined the team...

No scout = no new signings, no loans, no info about the oponents.

I have put up an add in the local newspaper, but no one seems to be interested to work for me (mayby i smell or something? )

You can always go to the Search > Staff option then customise it to search for unemployed scouts and get some that way. Thereby you will not incur compensation by taking a scout from another club whilst under contract.

The reasoning behind using the staff search is wrong.

The only reason to use staff search is if you can't get staff through the job centre after advertising.

yup i will atlest play through the season , then i might consider looking at the staff search if i still havnt got a single reply from the advertising ..

I don't understand the logic in that if it means potentially putting your team in debt by paying compensation when there is someone unemployed that can be employed

Seems pretty obvious to me. If you don't get suitable applicants from the job centre (which is unliklely in FM06) you use whatever means necessary, including staff search.

Just make sure you only offer a job to those of equal or worse reputation as you or your club and they should be based in your country and speak your language. If you have no transfer funds you won't be able to afford the compo so your only option is unemployed staff.

So in essence then what you are saying is to look for those already in employment before those poor souls who are desparate for a job and have mouths to feed and giving them gainful employment?

Why pay out compensation when there are those on JSA that can be employed? What are the LLM managers doing for the country's economy???
